Port Quin Sailing Club
Someone told a lie about the PQSC.
They said we backed their plans for the sea.
We were never given the chance to resist,
Mainly because we didn’t exist.
But now, as joke, and for a nominal fee,
You can cock a snook at the liars by buying a Tee…!
(Perhaps important for us to say
That we’re not really a sailing club, and we are NOT accredited by the RYA!)
SCROLL DOWN!

History
Marine developers applied for a licence to put an enormous commercial enterprise in Port Quin Bay in North Cornwall.
But they did not consult the community.
They had to write something in their Pre-Engagement Log, so they said they had consulted the Port Quin Sailing Club.
That, friends, is a big porky pie.
The Port Quin Sailing Club has never existed.
It is indicative of further false and misleading statements throughout that application.
You can now get yourself a PQSC T-shirt to support us in showing the authorities that coastal communities matter, and that we don’t like being lied to!
Become a Member - no sailing required!

That’s it!
By positioning ourselves as consultees in the event of marine development applications for the local area, the PQSC can help to ensure that pressures on the environment and on marine wildlife are fully considered and that local communities and businesses are represented.
